One charger for a phone, tablet, and light laptop that fits in a backpack or jacket pocket. The white AlzaPower Ultimate X500 with 67 W now costs 389 CZK as part of Black Friday, and it has never been cheaper. Users also rate it very well, boasting a score of 4.8/5 based on almost a thousand reviews.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you want one charger for your mobile, tablet, and light laptop.
⚠️ Consider if you have a Samsung or Xiaomi with the fastest charging – you won’t get the full potential from it.
💡 At 389 CZK, this is the lowest price for the white version in a year of tracking.

It will charge a laptop, but not every one

The charger is based on GaN (gallium nitride) technology, which, according to the manufacturer, allows for higher efficiency (over 92%) with smaller dimensions than traditional adapters. While its dimensions of 93 × 44 × 31 mm and weight of 129 grams don’t make it the smallest piece on the market, it fits into a laptop backpack without problems.

A single USB-C port can handle up to 65 W in classic Power Delivery mode (67 W with PPS), which is sufficient for a MacBook Air, most ultrabooks, or an iPad. However, a powerful gaming laptop with a large adapter will charge slowly from it under load, if at all. In addition to USB Power Delivery, it also supports Quick Charge, Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging, and Huawei SuperCharge, so it can handle charging phones of various brands.

Three ports share 67 W

The numbers on the box apply only when charging a single device. When all three ports are connected, the total power drops to 63 W: the main USB-C gets 45 W, and the remaining 18 W is split between the second USB-C and USB-A. For a combination of a laptop, phone, and watch, this is more than enough, but the laptop will charge slower.

The manufacturer also states that when a device is connected or disconnected, the charger temporarily turns off all ports and redistributes power. Practically, this means that charging on other devices is briefly interrupted – one customer complains that when charging an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch overnight, they repeatedly hear sounds of charging initiation. You won’t find a cable in the package, so you need to account for your own – for a full 65 W to a laptop, use a 5A cable (100 W), while standard 3A cables can handle approximately 60 W.

Also, be aware of the fastest charging for some phones. For PPS, the manufacturer states a current up to 3.35 A, which is not enough for 45W Super Fast Charging on Samsung phones – these will charge slower, but still quickly. Two customers in reviews also point this out. For Xiaomi phones, one buyer measured only “Quick charging” 9 V / 2 A, as Xiaomi achieves its highest performance only with its own protocol and original charger.

Customers rate the X500 4.8 out of 5

The charger has an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 927 customers on Alza, 94% of whom recommend it, and over 50,000 units have been sold. The complaint rate is 0.95%. Written reviews repeatedly praise its ability to charge multiple devices simultaneously and its capacity to power a laptop or MacBook Air. Several buyers, however, note that it is a bit heavier for its size, and some remind that the power is shared among the ports.

Yes for family and travel with a MacBook, no for Samsung Ultra

At 389 CZK, the X500 makes the most sense for households where several phones compete for an outlet in the morning, and for people who want to carry a single charger for their mobile and MacBook Air when traveling. It will also serve well as a replacement for the weak 10W brick you might have received with a tablet for your parents.

However, owners of Samsung phones with 45W charging (Plus and Ultra series) or Xiaomi users who care about every minute should opt for a charger from their phone’s brand. The same applies to anyone who needs to power a powerful laptop.

How many chargers do you have at home, and how many of them would this one replace?
