Working on a large screen is comfortable, but every extra gram is noticeable when carrying it daily. The ASUS Zenbook A16 addresses this combination with a 16-inch OLED display in an all-metal body weighing just 1.2 kg. The beige version with 24 GB RAM now costs 35,490 CZK on Alza. It is now even cheaper than in the September sale, when the same configuration was available with a coupon for 39,990 CZK. In June, it started selling for 48,990 CZK.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Working with documents, multiple windows, and movies, if you want a large screen and carry your laptop daily.
⚠️ Consider: This is Windows on ARM. For specialized programs and games, verify compatibility before purchase.
💡 The UX3607OA-OLED110W version includes Windows 11 Home and a charging adapter. The price of 35,490 CZK is valid without membership and coupon.

A display that gives you room to breathe

The OLED has a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it suitable for documents and working with multiple open windows. Reviews praise it not only for its sharpness but also for its excellent colors. A refresh rate of 120 Hz adds smoother content scrolling. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and its surface is glossy, which is worth considering when working opposite a window.

The battery has a capacity of 70 Wh, which, combined with the ARM processor, ensures fantastic battery life of around 11 – 14 hours, and the laptop supports USB-C charging. HDMI is available for connecting an external display, and there’s also a standard USB port and a memory card reader. When moving away from your desk, you don’t have to sacrifice a large display just because of weight.

What reviews praised and where the A16 has its limits

Mark Hachman in his PCWorld review praised how light the Zenbook A16 is for a sixteen-inch laptop. Gaming performance, however, disappointed him. He tested a higher 48GB variant with a different processor, so this is not a review of this exact configuration. However, for those interested in the A16, its focus is important: a large work screen in a highly portable computer, not a gaming laptop replacement.

24 GB RAM and operating system included

The basis of this offer is the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme X2E-94-100, complemented by 24 GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The processor itself is very capable. In some tests, it rivals the Apple M4 Max, which was the best Apple offered until recently. For everyday work, the backlit keyboard and Windows Hello login are also suitable. However, if you plan to carry a large photo archive or many videos, the disk capacity might be a reason to choose a different variant.

Would you rather carry a large, lightweight laptop, or would you prefer a smaller display on the go?
