Self-emptying stations used to be the privilege of robots costing ten thousand or more. For a Czech brand with domestic service, this is an interesting combination.

In addition, there’s automatic emptying into the station, so you don’t have to deal with the dustbin every day, and a mop function for hard floors. Battery life is above average – up to 300 minutes on a single charge thanks to the 5,200 mAh battery, and if the robot runs out of battery in the middle of cleaning, it goes to recharge and then continues where it left off.

For Czech users, there are two practical details. Firstly, the robot speaks Czech and Slovak, and the Concept Home app is localized, which is often a lottery with Chinese brands. Secondly, a 7-year warranty on the motor after registration with the manufacturer – for a device that runs daily, this is an assurance that competitors usually don’t offer. The robot is also designed for allergy sufferers and pet hair, has four side brushes, and can overcome obstacles up to 2 cm.

What to watch out for

A noise level of 75 dB is quite high for a robotic vacuum cleaner – you probably won’t run it while working from home, and emptying into the station is a loud moment that you won’t schedule for when a child is sleeping. The dustbin with a volume of 0.3 liters is smaller, which isn’t a major issue for a self-emptying model, but in a very dusty household, it means more frequent trips to the station. The mop uses a classic textile with a water tank, so expect maintenance mopping, not the removal of dried stains – for that, you need expensive models with rotating and heated mops.

On Alza, the robot currently has a rating of 4.5 out of 5, but only from four customers, so the sample is small, and long-term experiences are yet to accumulate. However, as a first robot for a household with a combination of floors and pets, it’s a reasonable choice for under eight thousand – mainly due to Czech support and the motor warranty.
