Your phone is running out of battery, you have your power bank in your handbag, but what about the cable? It stayed at home on the table. This small Vention power bank solves exactly this problem because it carries a short cable with it as a loop. On Alza, with code ALZADNY35, it now costs 324 CZK instead of the usual 499 CZK. The discount is thus 175 CZK.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you want a small backup battery for which you don’t need to worry about a separate cable.
⚠️ Consider that it’s not designed for laptops and the capacity will be tight for longer trips without an outlet.
💡 For 324 CZK, you get two outputs, a display with remaining capacity, and a cable you always have at hand.

Loop with a “home” for the cable that won’t get lost

The main charm of this power bank lies in its practical loop with a “home” for the short USB-C cable. The cable measures only 17 cm, and instead of lying at the bottom of your bag, it hangs directly on the power bank. When you need it, you pull it out and connect it to your phone. According to the manufacturer, a rotating lock also secures the connection to the phone to prevent the connector from slipping out on its own.

It measures 104 × 69 × 19.6 mm, so it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, and according to the manufacturer, it weighs 198 grams. It will fit into a handbag, fanny pack, or smaller backpack without any problems. It can also be used on an airplane: with an energy of 38.5 Wh, it is well below the 100 Wh limit that airlines typically allow for power banks on board. Just like any power bank, place it in your carry-on luggage, not in checked baggage.

Two outputs and fast charging up to 22.5 W

The power bank has two outputs, USB-C up to 20 W and USB-A up to 22.5 W, so you can charge two devices at once. The manufacturer promises up to 22.5 W for the cable from the loop, while Alza states 20 W for the USB-C output. Both are sufficient for fast phone charging. The third port, again USB-C, is only for recharging the power bank itself. It fully charges in about three hours with an input of up to 18 W. A small display shows how much power you have left.

It’s good to view the 10,000 mAh figure with a reserve. Some energy is lost during conversion, so you can charge a phone with a 5,000 mAh battery roughly one to one and a half times. This is more than enough for a day trip or a long train journey. Customers on Alza currently give it 4.9 out of 5 (from 8 ratings), and over 500 units have been sold.

Not enough for a laptop or several days without an outlet

Power up to 22.5 W is sufficient for phones, headphones, or watches, but it is not designed for charging laptops. And if you’re going on a multi-day trip without access to an outlet, 10,000 mAh will likely be too little. In that case, it’s worth opting for a larger model, such as the 30,000 mAh Vention power bank, which we wrote about recently. However, that one will fit less easily into a handbag.

Also, keep in mind that the 17-centimeter cable is really short. It’s sufficient for charging a phone in your pocket or bag, but anyone who wants to use their phone freely while charging might find it too short.

Handy backup for everyday carry

Anyone who wants a small backup battery for their handbag, for public transport commutes, or a weekend trip, and doesn’t want to worry about carrying a cable, will likely not go wrong with the Vention power bank for 324 CZK. It’s also suitable as a gift for students or parents who constantly forget their cables. However, leave powerful travel laptops and long expeditions to larger models.

Do you carry a power bank with you every day, or only for travel?
