Two new Xiaomi robotic vacuum cleaners are coming to the Czech Republic. One offers excellent price/performance ratio, the other an extendable arm and better suction Home News Xiaomi is bringing new robotic vacuum cleaners Robot Vacuum H50 and H50 Pro to the Czech market with prices of 8 499 Kč and 11 999 Kč The more expensive Pro model features an extendable robotic arm, 15,000 Pa suction power, and obstacle detection with structured light Both models share LDS laser navigation, a self-cleaning station with hot-air mop drying, and a 4-liter water tank Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 24. 4. 2026 22:30 Advertisement The robotic vacuum cleaner category has evolved from a convenient novelty to a full-fledged replacement for traditional cleaning over the past ten to fifteen years. Xiaomi is responding to this trend by introducing a pair of models that fall into the mid-range and upper-mid-range segments. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro are set to launch sales in the Czech market from next month, with interested parties already able to pre-order them from selected retailers. What do both new products offer and how do they differ? Common foundation: laser navigation and self-cleaning station Working with carpets and floors H50 Pro: extendable arm and stronger suction Basic H50 keeps pace with the competition Price and availability in the Czech Republic Common foundation: laser navigation and self-cleaning station Both new vacuum cleaners are built on the same foundation, from which a number of shared features stem. We can highlight, for example, LDS laser navigation, which allows the devices to perform a 360° room scan and thus create an accurate map of the household. Once available, they plan an efficient S-shaped route, remember the layout of multiple floors, and after recharging the battery, return exactly to the spot where they interrupted cleaning. Also common is the self-cleaning station equipped with a clean and dirty water tank with a volume of 4 liters. This should be sufficient for mopping an area of up to 240 m² without the need for refilling. The station first wets the mop pads, then scrubs them at high speed, and finally dries them with hot air for approximately 2 hours, preventing odor formation. Dust from the vacuum cleaner goes into a large-capacity bag lasting up to 75 days, so manual intervention by the user is only exceptional. Working with carpets and floors The new models also share dual rotating mops with a speed of up to 180 rotations per minute, which simulate manual mopping and remove even dried stains. Upon carpet detection, the pads automatically lift by 10 mm, preventing the fibers from getting soaked, and the vacuum cleaner simultaneously increases suction power for deeper cleaning. The mops also lift during their return to the station to prevent dirty water from dripping onto the floor. There are four cleaning modes (vacuuming only, mopping only, combined cleaning, and vacuuming before mopping) as well as four options for carpet interaction. Both models can overcome obstacles and thresholds up to 2 cm high and feature an anti-tangle hair system with Y-shaped comb teeth, which will be especially appreciated by households with pets. H50 Pro: extendable arm and stronger suction The main difference between the two models lies in what the more expensive version adds. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro boasts an extendable robotic arm, which can push out the side brush and mop pad towards the edges of the room. The reach is 68% greater compared to previous generations, and the distance from walls is said to decrease to zero, according to the manufacturer. This means the vacuum cleaner should thoroughly clean corners, furniture edges, and spaces under appliances, where conventional models still fail today. Another difference is the suction power, which is 15,000 Pa for the Pro version, while the basic H50 offers 10,000 Pa. For the price it will be sold at, this is a great value, allowing the device to easily handle fine dust in gaps between parquet floors or short hairs. The Pro version also comes with a more advanced obstacle detection system using structured light, which has a 129-degree field of view and can avoid low objects even in poor lighting conditions. Quiet operation is another bonus – in mopping-only mode, the H50 Pro achieves a noise level of just 57 dB(A). Basic H50 keeps pace with the competition While the cheaper Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 doesn’t have an extendable arm and offers lower suction power, it’s certainly not a tragedy for average households. A performance of 10,000 Pa still represents a solid standard, and features like automatic mop washing and drying, independent dust collection into a large-capacity bag, or smart pad lifting on carpets were reserved for devices at twice the price just a few years ago. One offers excellent price/performance ratio, the other an extendable arm and better suction Adam Kurfürst News Adam Kurfürst News In terms of endurance, the vacuum cleaners use a 5,200 mAh Li-ion battery, which provides up to 150 minutes of operation on a single charge. A full recharge takes approximately 6 hours. Control is done via the Xiaomi Home mobile application, and thanks to the integration of voice assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, cleaning can be started without needing to reach for your phone. Price and availability in the Czech Republic The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 starts at 8,499 Kč, while the more equipped Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro costs 11,999 Kč. Both models are available in white and for pre-order from selected Czech retailers, with sales expected to begin on May 1, 2026. If you are considering whether to opt for the basic model or pay extra, the key question is how many narrow spaces and corners you have in your home. The H50 Pro makes sense primarily if you want to address edges and areas along walls without the need for manual touch-ups. For most average households, however, the cheaper H50 will be perfectly sufficient and will save approximately 3,500 Kč, which can be invested, for example, in spare accessories or another smart product.
