Vention magnetic power bank discounted to 519 CZK. It attaches to iPhone and also serves as a stand

Your phone is at ten percent, the cable is somewhere at the bottom of your backpack, and you urgently need to make a call or use navigation in an unfamiliar city. A magnetic power bank solves this situation more conveniently than a classic one: you attach it to the back of your phone and continue using it normally. The Vention model with a capacity of 10,000 mAh now costs 519 CZK on Alza with code ALZADNY35, which is 280 CZK less than usual. Customers give it 4.5 out of 5, and over a thousand units have been sold.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for iPhone owners with MagSafe (Alza lists series 12 to 16) who want to charge wirelessly even while using the phone.
⚠️ Consider that some customers experience heating during wireless charging, and according to Alza, you will only charge an iPhone with 7.5 W.
💡 For 519 CZK you get a magnet, a stand, and in addition to wireless charging, a 20W USB-C output.

Up to 15 W wirelessly, 20 W via cable, plus a kickstand

Vention states a capacity of 10,000 mAh, wireless charging up to 15 W, and a USB-C output with 20 W power. This is useful when you want to charge your phone faster with a cable, or when you need to power a second device. Both methods can be used simultaneously, so you can have one phone attached to the back and another connected via cable.

The rest of the features are practical. The foldable kickstand turns the power bank into a stand, so you can place your phone on a table for a video call or a series on the train. The charging status is shown by an LED indicator, and the package includes a short 30cm USB-C to USB-C cable. Dimensions are 111 × 72 × 20 mm.

iPhones charge wirelessly at half power

The magnet is designed for iPhones with MagSafe; Alza lists the power bank for series 12 to 16. However, iPhones will not receive the full 15 W wirelessly: Alza states 7.5 W for Apple phones. Wireless charging is also less efficient than cable charging, so less energy from the 10,000 mAh will reach the phone. Those in a hurry should opt for a cable and the 20W output.

It’s more complicated with Android. Most Android phones do not have magnets on their backs, so without a magnetic ring or case, the power bank won’t stay attached. One customer complains in a review that it only charges iPhones, and according to another customer, the top edge of the power bank touches the cameras on a Galaxy Z Fold.

Customers praise the magnet, but dislike the heat and button

On Alza, the power bank has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 48 customers, 83% of whom recommend it, and the return rate is 2%. In 19 written reviews, the strong magnet (“MagSafe holds like a nail,” writes one buyer) and the popular kickstand are most frequently mentioned. An iPhone 16 Pro owner states that a fully charged power bank charges his phone twice, while another customer, conversely, writes that the capacity does not correspond to reality.

A common complaint is heating during wireless charging, mentioned in five reviews. Mostly it’s mild warmth, but one Slovak customer describes that the phone reported overheating. Two people complain that you have to start phone charging with a button (according to one of them, every time). According to one buyer, the power bank cannot simultaneously charge a phone and itself from the mains (so-called pass-through) and would not charge from his laptop.

Without a magnet in your phone, you’re paying extra unnecessarily

If you have an Android without magnets and don’t want to deal with a ring or a new case, the magnetic design won’t bring you any benefit. For you, a classic power bank makes more sense, such as the small Vention with 10,000 mAh, which we wrote about on October 25th. Those who need more power for a multi-day trip will appreciate the large 30,000mAh Vention more.

Those who want to leave the power bank plugged in overnight and have it charged along with their phone in the morning should also hesitate. According to the mentioned review, this model does not support pass-through charging.

iPhone owners on the go benefit the most

For 519 CZK with code ALZADNY35, it’s a reasonable purchase for iPhone owners with MagSafe who spend all day taking photos on a trip, navigating on a bike, or traveling long distances by train. The magnet saves them from a cable dangling from their pocket, and the kickstand is useful for videos. Those who primarily charge Android phones without magnets won’t miss anything with a classic power bank.

Do you carry your power bank attached to your phone, or do you stick with a cable?
