Seventy-five percent is the ideal compromise

The 75% format with 79 keys is today the most popular choice among gamers and people who type a lot – and it makes sense. It retains the F1–F12 function key row, arrow keys, and navigation keys, but omits the numeric keypad and the gaps between key clusters. This saves about a third of the space on your desk and brings your mouse closer, which your shoulder will appreciate when gaming. The keyboard measures 32.4 centimeters in width.

Inside are Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red linear switches, which are factory pre-lubricated – this makes the press smooth, without scratching and spring pinging that often annoys on cheaper mechanical keyboards. The actuation force of 50 cN is light, the travel distance of 2 mm is short, and the lifespan of 100 million presses is on par with more expensive keyboards.

Practical details: the rotary knob in the corner is used for quick volume control, 12 multimedia functions are available via the Fn key, and there’s N-Key rollover, a Windows key lock for gaming, and proprietary software for programming macros and RGB settings. What you need to know

The keycaps are translucent ABS with an OEM profile, so the RGB backlighting shines through the entire key; however, more durable PBT plastic is not present here, and they may polish up after years of intense typing. And pay attention to a small detail in the specifications: the layout is ANSI, meaning with a single-row Enter key, which you’ll need to get used to if you’re switching from a classic Czech keyboard with a large Enter key.
