Xiaomi smart toothbrush with a display arrived in the Czech Republic. The price was exactly as expected

When we looked at the Xiaomi smart toothbrush Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro this spring, we could only guess its price and availability on our market. Now it’s clear – the new product with a color display, gyroscope, and connection to a mobile application is starting to sell in the Czech Republic for 1,499 CZK.

What can the Xiaomi smart toothbrush do?

The core is a so-called servo-oscillation motor. Instead of ordinary vibrations, the brush head rotates sideways by up to 60°, mimicking the Bass brushing technique recommended by dentists. The manufacturer states up to 92% plaque removal efficiency, but this is their own laboratory figure, which we cannot independently verify.

The main attraction is the color display directly on the toothbrush body. On the display, you can see in real-time which areas of your teeth you have cleaned and which you have missed – thanks to its six-axis gyroscope, the toothbrush knows which part of your teeth you are currently brushing. Besides that, it shows the remaining time, plaque level, and battery status.

There is also a pressure sensor. If you press too hard on your teeth, the toothbrush lights up red and automatically slows down the motor to prevent damage to your gums.

Lasts half a year and connects to your phone

Inside is a lithium-ion battery, and Xiaomi promises decent endurance: in gentle mode, it is supposed to last up to 180 days, and with regular brushing twice a day for two minutes, approximately 90 days on a single charge. It charges via USB-C, a full charge takes about five hours, and two minutes at the socket is reportedly enough for one complete brushing.

The smart part is the connection to the Xiaomi Home app via Bluetooth 5.4, where you can find statistics, personalized brushing plans, and technique tips. The toothbrush can withstand immersion thanks to IPX8 resistance, the package includes two brush heads (cleaning and gentle), and there is a travel lock to prevent accidental activation.

In the Czech Republic, you can buy the toothbrush from the authorized Mi Store e-shop for 1,499 CZK, where you can choose between blue or white variants.

The final amount fits exactly within the range we estimated in the spring. For a smart toothbrush, it’s still a decent sum; those who just want clean teeth can make do with a cheaper model, while the display and statistics will be appreciated mainly by those who like to see data about their dental health.
