Thirteen centimeters that replace a desktop tower

The body measures 130 × 130 × 43 millimeters, which is roughly the size of a book lying flat – it fits behind a monitor, under a TV, or on a shelf without anyone noticing it. Inside sits an eight-core Intel Core Ultra 5 226V Lunar Lake generation with a boost of 4.5 GHz and a TDP of only 37 W, so the computer generates minimal heat and is very quiet.

The equipment is above standard for a mini PC: 16 GB of fast LPDDR5x memory at 8,533 MHz, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and Intel Arc 130V graphics, which are among the better integrated options and can handle video editing, photo work, and casual gaming. Thanks to the NPU, the computer meets the requirements for Copilot+ features, i.e., AI tasks running locally without sending data to the internet.

But the most interesting feature is Thunderbolt 4. It allows you to connect an external graphics card or a docking station, so you can turn a quiet office computer into a gaming setup with a single cable – and when you disconnect the graphics card, you have a small, inconspicuous box again. There are quite a few connectors: four USB-C ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and audio input and output.

What to watch out for

The biggest limitation is the soldered memory – sixteen gigabytes is definitive, and the computer has no expansion slot. It’s enough for everyday work and multitasking, but if you plan virtualization or working with huge projects, you should look elsewhere. On the other hand, storage can be expanded: only one of the two M.2 slots is occupied, so you can add a second drive.

The second thing is that the Intel Arc 130V is still integrated graphics. It’s not enough for modern AAA games at high details, even though it technically supports ray tracing – hence the option to connect an external card. And on Alza, the computer currently has only one rating (5 out of 5), so not much can be gathered about long-term reliability from reviews.
