Affordable Samsung Galaxy A27 reappears, this time in official renders

Leaks surrounding the affordable Samsung Galaxy A27 are increasing. Following previously published renders that revealed a redesigned, more modern look, another piece of information has emerged. This time, it’s a leak of seemingly official images of the phone in a mint green color.

What we know about the Galaxy A27

The new light green color, possibly named Awesome Mint, was brought to light by leaker Mohammed Khatr. His own words suggest that the renders were prematurely published by an electronics retailer. Until now, three shades were mentioned: black, blue, and light pink.

Regarding its appearance, older renders already showed that the Galaxy A27 is finally abandoning the long-standing teardrop notch and will feature a punch-hole cutout in the middle of the top edge. The flat 6.7″ display and the island with three cameras bring the phone’s design closer to the more expensive A37 and A57 models.

More specific details about the specifications are gradually emerging, though still only from leaks. The Galaxy A27 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, complemented by up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The phone should offer a 6.7″ FHD+ display, a 50Mpx main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery, and run Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the specifications or release date, but we expect the unveiling either this month or next.
