Why Urban power banks are interesting

The main difference of the Urban series from regular power banks is the integrated 18 cm USB-C cable. It is built directly into the power bank’s body and also serves as a strap, so you can conveniently hang it on a backpack or hold it in your hand. This eliminates the need to search for a cable in your backpack or pocket. In addition to the integrated cable, each power bank also offers a USB-C port and a USB-A port, meaning you can charge up to three devices simultaneously.

Both versions support Power Delivery 3.0 and are compatible with Quick Charge 3.0, Samsung AFC, Huawei FCP, and Apple 2.4A protocols. Smart IC technology automatically recognizes the connected device and adjusts the power output to ensure charging is as efficient and safe as possible.

The smaller AlzaPower Urban 10,000 mAh has a power output of up to 22.5 W and dimensions of 70 × 58 × 29 mm. It fits comfortably even in a jacket pocket. Charging the power bank to 100% takes approximately 3 hours (with a minimum 18W charger). The price is 599 Kč, and you can choose between orange, gray, or silver colors.

The larger AlzaPower Urban 20,000 mAh offers a power output of up to 35 W, so it can charge more demanding devices like tablets faster. The dimensions are 96 × 70 × 30 mm, and the power bank itself charges in approximately 2.5 hours (with a minimum 35W charger). For 749 Kč, you get double the capacity compared to the smaller version.

Practical features: Low Power Mode and Pass Through

Both versions feature Low Power Mode, which allows for safe charging of devices with low current draw, such as wireless headphones or smartwatches. You activate the mode by holding the button for 3 seconds. If you do not manually turn it off, it will automatically deactivate after 2 hours.

Also included is the Pass Through function, which allows you to charge connected devices even while the power bank itself is charging. This is practical, for example, when you only have one outlet and need to charge both your phone and the power bank simultaneously. The LCD display shows the current charge status, so you always have an overview.

Safety and Warranty

AlzaPower Urban features 6-fold safety protection against overvoltage, overload, short circuit, overheating, overcharging, and under-discharging. The body is made of flame-retardant material according to UL94 standard. In the package, in addition to the power bank, you will also find a 30 cm double-sided USB-C cable, which you can use for charging the power bank or connecting other devices.

Alza provides a 36-month warranty for these power banks, which is one year more than the legal minimum. In case of a defect, they offer immediate replacement for a new unit at their branches.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you need to charge a laptop with higher power input, even 35 W on the larger version may not be enough for full power supply during work. For such purposes, it is better to opt for a power bank with 65 W or more. Likewise, if you prefer wireless charging, this series does not offer it. The integrated cable is practical, but it is only 18 cm long, which may not suit everyone.
