Cheapest laptop with GeForce RTX 5070. ASUS TUF Gaming A16 now costs 30 990 Kč on Alza, and in addition to the graphics card with a limit of up to 115 W, it adds a 165Hz screen and a large 90Wh battery. In the gray FA608UP-RV048 configuration, there is also room for later expansion of both memory and storage. You get a power adapter in the package, but you have to provide the system yourself.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Gamers looking for an RTX 5070 at a reasonable price who want to add RAM or another SSD later.
⚠️ Consider: The laptop comes without an operating system. The basic 512GB drive might be too small for a larger game library.
💡 This is the FA608UP-RV048 with adapter. The price of 30 990 Kč applies directly, without a coupon or paid membership.

RTX 5070 and a screen for fast-paced games

The octa-core Ryzen 7 260 is complemented by a GeForce RTX 5070 with 8 GB of dedicated memory. Its maximum power consumption reaches up to 115 W, which is a more important figure than the graphics card’s designation itself when comparing different laptops. The equipment is supplemented by a MUX switch and Nvidia G-SYNC.

The sixteen-inch IPS panel has a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, an anti-glare surface, and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The 16:10 aspect ratio can also be utilized outside of gaming, for example, when working with documents. The manufacturer states 100% sRGB coverage for this configuration, but the brightness is a standard 300 nits.

Review praised the body, but less so the noise

Notebookcheck’s review of the A16 FA608UP with the same processor and graphics card praised the solid chassis, comfortable controls, and RTX 5070 performance. However, in Turbo mode, they described the fans as very noisy. The tested unit had a different display and more memory, so this is not a review of this exact Czech configuration. Nevertheless, insights into the build and noise provide useful context when choosing.

Additional drive doesn’t have to replace the original one

The included 16 GB DDR5 occupies one of the two memory slots. Similarly, next to the installed 512GB SSD, a second M.2 slot remains free, so you can add space for games and keep the original drive. This is a practical way to later adapt the laptop to a larger library.

When gaming at a desk, a wired Ethernet connection comes in handy, while for regular work, a Czech keyboard with a numeric keypad is useful. The body weighs 2.2 kg and houses a 90Wh battery.

Do you expand the memory and disk in gaming laptops yourself, or do you prefer to buy a larger configuration right away?
