GTA 6 on Netflix might show over an hour of footage. However, the evidence disappeared in a few minutes

Rockstar chose an unconventional path for the reveal of GTA 6 — the presentation will premiere on Netflix and only arrive on YouTube six hours later. How much material we will actually see, however, no one knows yet. And two available clues contradict each other.

A schedule someone managed to photograph

A Reddit user reportedly stumbled upon a schedule of three episodes with specified runtimes on the Portuguese Netflix page. The first was supposed to last 23 minutes and 37 seconds, the second 24 minutes and 41 seconds, and the third 18 minutes and 29 seconds. In total, therefore, just over 66 minutes.

The catch is that it can no longer be verified. The account from which the post originated was deleted along with the screenshot, and the schedule disappeared from Portuguese Netflix. Foreign websites GameRant and Insider Gaming picked up the information, but no independent evidence exists.

Netflix support mentioned twenty minutes

A few days ago, players directly asked Netflix customer support and received a response that the presentation would last approximately 20 minutes. This is far enough from 66 minutes that the difference cannot be attributed to rounding. Neither piece of information is official, and furthermore, it cannot be ruled out that the support’s answer came from an automated assistant.

A three-part option would make marketing sense

Dividing it into three parts would align with what Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, according to whom the Extended Look is just an appetizer, and the main course and dessert are yet to come. Rockstar could spread the episodes across September and October and maintain attention until the game’s release.

Only one thing is certain so far: Grand Theft Auto VI releases on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S; a PC version is still not planned. We will see the presentation on August 27 at 9:00 PM on Netflix, and on Rockstar’s channel on August 28 at 3:00 AM.
