Samsung Galaxy A27 price leaked before launch. Cheap phones apparently won't be cheap anymore Home News European prices for Samsung Galaxy A27 leaked before its unveiling: the 6/128 GB version will reportedly cost around 8.5 thousand CZK (converted) Compared to last year's A26, we'll reportedly pay a significant premium – and the main culprit isn't better features, but rising memory prices In return, you'll get a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and a 50Mpx camera with OIS, but Samsung quietly cut the ultrawide camera and the memory card slot Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 12. 6. 2026 10:30 Advertisement The affordable mid-range is no longer affordable. Although the Samsung Galaxy A27 hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, its European prices and almost complete specifications are already known thanks to a leak – and the price tag won’t bring joy. A few days ago, we showed official renders in mint color, and now the numbers that interest everyone have been added. Leaked European prices send shivers down the spine The base variant with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage is expected to cost 349 euros in Europe, while the better-equipped edition with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of space will be 439 euros. Last year’s Galaxy A26 started at 299 and 369 euros. In practice, this means a surcharge of 50 and 70 euros respectively year-on-year – and that’s for a phone that doesn’t bring any major revolution in its base form. The price increase is mainly due to rising memory prices. The prices were published by renowned leaker Roland Quandt, who has a long track record of accuracy with European price tags; however, definitive certainty will only come with the official premiere. Converted, this is roughly 8,500 and 10,600 Czech crowns, but we will have to wait for specific Czech prices. What will the Galaxy A27 offer? Under the 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is now hidden, marking a departure from the Exynos chips that the A-series in Europe had been accustomed to for years. It promises better efficiency and performance under load. Photos are handled by a trio on the back, led by a 50Mpx main sensor with optical stabilization, complemented by a 5Mpx ultrawide and a 2Mpx macro; selfies are taken by a 12Mpx punch-hole camera, which replaced the previous teardrop notch. Power is provided by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. Samsung Galaxy A27 price leaked before launch. Cheap phones apparently won't be cheap anymore Adam Kurfürst News Adam Kurfürst News Software-wise, the phone will be surprisingly ahead — it will launch directly with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, which is not common for a cheaper model. Besides the mint “Awesome Mint,” black, blue, and light pink are also expected. The manufacturer will likely time the premiere between June and August. Where did Samsung cut back and who will the A27 be worth it for? However, not everything is going up. The ultrawide camera dropped from 8 to 5 megapixels, so panoramas and wider shots will lose detail. Memory card enthusiasts will take a more noticeable hit: the microSD slot has reportedly disappeared completely from the specifications, so you’ll only have the storage you buy. So, who will the upcoming Galaxy A27 suit? Mainly those who want a new Samsung with long software support, a decent main camera, and a large battery, and who aren’t chasing record-breaking specifications. On the other hand, those who value expandable storage or high-quality ultrawide photos would do better to wait for discounts on the older A26 or look at the competition. Do you think the surcharge is fair, or has even the basic series become too expensive?
