You’re leaving home, your phone is at its last few percent, and the cable is somewhere in your backpack again. The Anker Nano solves exactly this situation: you flip out the USB-C connector and connect the small power bank directly to the bottom edge of your phone. This way, you won’t have another cable in your pockets. The black version now costs 490 CZK on Alza, which is less than the October price of 632 CZK with a discount code.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: A trip around the city, a concert, or an evening out when you need to top up energy without an extra cable.
⚠️ Consider: Its 5,000 mAh capacity makes it more of an emergency backup. It’s not enough for several full charges of a large phone.
💡 The price of 490 CZK applies directly. It has a built-in foldable connector, not a retractable cable.

It takes up less space in your pocket than a large power bank

The body measures 76.9 × 36.9 × 25 millimeters and weighs 100 grams. The connector can be folded down for transport, so it doesn’t stick out. Next to it, there’s also a separate USB-C port for charging the power bank or connecting another device with a cable. However, the main attraction remains the ability to charge your phone without searching for accessories.

For direct insertion, check the space around the USB-C port in your case beforehand. A thick case with a deeply recessed cutout can complicate such use; with a cable through the second port, you lose this advantage, but you still have a backup option.

Test praised construction, charging has its limits

ComputerBase, in its test of model A1653, praised the solid build quality and folding mechanism and reported no issues when charging devices. From a nominal 18 Wh, it measured up to 14.11 Wh at the output. Charging the power bank itself took about two and a half hours. Another weakness is the missing PPS, which led the editorial team to note slower charging for Samsung phones.

22.5 W is not a promise for every phone

You’ll find 22.5 W in the product name, but this value refers to the SCP protocol. Via the more common USB Power Delivery, the Nano offers up to 20 W. For emergency battery top-ups on the go, convenient connection is more important than chasing the highest number on the box.

Do you prefer carrying a small backup power bank, or a larger capacity for several days?
