Titanium, sapphire, and 20-day battery life. Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro targets Czech runners, impressing with its features Home News Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro arrives in the Czech Republic, available for pre-order for 11,299 CZK The watch targets runners thanks to its 1.32″ AMOLED display with 3,000 nits brightness and up to 20 days of battery life Features include a titanium frame, sapphire glass, dual L1+L5 GPS, and offline maps with navigation Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 17. 4. 2026 04:30 Advertisement For the past few weeks, the successor to the popular running watch Amazfit Cheetah Pro has been slowly revealing itself before its official launch. First, the name Cheetah 2 Pro leaked on the wrist of brand ambassador Grant Fisher, followed by renders from well-known leaker Roland Quandt. Amazfit officially launched the watch yesterday, and the brand’s Czech e-shop immediately put it up for pre-order. It will cost 11,299 CZK. Titanium, Sapphire, and a Display with 3,000 Nits Brightness Battery for Marathon Runners GPS, Offline Maps, and Navigation for Real Running Training Plans, Zepp Coach, and Strava Integration Wrist Payments, Calls, and Flashlight Price, Who the Watch is For – and Who It Isn't Titanium, Sapphire, and a Display with 3,000 Nits Brightness Compared to the original version, the Cheetah 2 Pro has advanced in its craftsmanship. The middle frame and back cover are made of grade 5 titanium, used in the aerospace industry, while the display is protected by sapphire glass. The result is a case measuring 48 × 48 × 13.2 mm and weighing only 45.6 grams, which is surprisingly light for a watch with such a large battery. Design-wise, Amazfit removed the rotating crown from its predecessor and replaced it with four physical buttons, two on each side of the case – a solution that runners will appreciate more than capacitive touch when sweating and in humid conditions. The front features a 1.32″ round AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels (353 PPI) and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This value reliably ensures readability even in direct sunlight during long training sessions. The watch is water-resistant according to the 5 ATM standard, which is sufficient for swimming in a pool or showering. However, this rating is not enough for diving – if you are looking for a watch for recreational diving, you should rather look for the Amazfit Balance 2 model with 10 ATM resistance. Battery for Marathon Runners One of the main selling points is battery life. The 540 mAh battery should last up to 20 days on a single charge in normal mode, 31 hours with precise GPS, and even 69 hours in power-saving GPS mode. The numbers sound appealing, but real-world usage will depend on how often you use the always-on display, NFC payments, or music playback. Nevertheless, for marathon preparation and long training blocks, this is a sufficient foundation. CHCI NOVÉ HODINKY AMAZFIT A minor snag is the package contents. In the box, you will only find a magnetic charging base without a USB-C cable, which Amazfit justifies by striving to reduce waste. It sounds nice, but in practice, it means that if you don’t have a spare cable at home, you’ll have to buy one. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. GPS, Offline Maps, and Navigation for Real Running For the running community, the navigation features will likely be the most interesting. The Cheetah 2 Pro uses the Airoha AG3353 chip with support for dual L1 and L5 bands and six satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC). An added layer of accuracy is provided by a circularly polarized antenna and Point Dead Reckoning technology, which calculates position during signal loss. The watch also supports offline maps and turn-by-turn navigation, which you can download to the internal 32GB storage. This may not seem revolutionary, but competitors in the same class (Garmin Forerunner 265, for example) do not offer this to such an extent. Other useful features include automatic route recalculation when deviating from the plan, searching for points of interest in offline maps, or generating a circular route based on a specified distance. Training Plans, Zepp Coach, and Strava Integration The smart coach Zepp Coach offers adaptive training plans for distances from 5 km to a marathon, with advanced metrics including VO₂ max, training load, lactate threshold heart rate, or running stride analysis. However, the Cheetah 2 Pro also opens up to third parties. You can import plans from TrainingPeaks, Runna, and Intervals.icu, and activity synchronization runs on Strava. For more serious athletes who already have an established workflow around third-party applications, this is a more significant added value than the metrics on the watch display itself. Wrist Payments, Calls, and Flashlight Common features expected from modern watches are, of course, present. The watch has an NFC chip and Zepp Pay support in cooperation with Mastercard – in the Czech Republic, cards from mBank, Raiffeisenbank, and the Curve service can currently be paired, with more banks to be added. In total, up to eight cards can be stored in the watch. Titanium, sapphire, and 20-day battery life. Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro targets Czech runners, impressing with its features Adam Kurfürst News Adam Kurfürst News Bluetooth calls can be handled via the built-in microphone and speaker, and on Android, the Zepp Flow voice assistant with voice dictation for replies is added – the experience is significantly more limited on iOS, which is an important factor for iPhone users. An interesting feature is the built-in LED flashlight with both white and red light, and Boost and SOS modes, which can be useful during morning or evening runs in less illuminated terrain. Price, Who the Watch is For – and Who It Isn’t The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro arrived on the Czech market with a price of 11,299 CZK, but they are currently only available for pre-order. The watch makes sense primarily for serious runners who train according to a structured plan, use external training applications, and want high-quality GPS with offline maps without entering the premium Garmin ecosystem. Long battery life, sapphire, and titanium are a rare combination in this price class. KOUPIT CHEETAH 2 PRO Conversely, iPhone users should consider that some software features (Zepp Flow voice control, dictating replies) will not be fully available to them. The Cheetah 2 Pro is also not a suitable candidate for those who want a universal smartwatch with a broad app ecosystem like Wear OS or watchOS – Zepp OS pragmatically focuses on sport and health, not productivity. And for regular diving, you should also look for models with 10 ATM resistance. Are you tempted by the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro, or would you rather opt for a Garmin or Coros?
