Xiaomi has a new air conditioner perfect for Czech summers. It blows cool air up to 16 meters Home News Xiaomi has unveiled a new standing air conditioner Mijia Powerful Wind Ultra 3HP in China It promises fast cooling and heating with a reach of up to 16 meters and energy efficiency of 4.9 SCOP In China, it costs approximately 20 thousand CZK (converted), its arrival in Europe is not yet confirmed Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 1. 6. 2026 14:30 Advertisement Air conditioners are among the product categories in which Xiaomi has been systematically growing in recent years. In China, the company already offers a fairly extensive range, from smaller split units to powerful standing models, but only a smaller portion of them has reached Europe. Among the latest additions to the portfolio is the Mijia Powerful Wind Ultra 3HP air conditioner, which Xiaomi positions as one of its most powerful standing units ever. The 3HP designation corresponds to approximately 2.2 kilowatts of nominal power, but the actual cooling and heating figures are significantly higher — maximum cooling power reaches 11 kW, heating 16 kW. These are not power consumption values from the outlet, but thermal output that the air conditioner delivers to the room. This also leads to the second advertised number, the efficiency value of 4.9 SCOP — theoretically, the unit should extract almost five times the heat or cold from one kilowatt-hour of electricity per year. Reality, of course, is governed by specific conditions, the difference between outdoor and desired temperature, and usage, but on paper, it’s a very respectable figure. What Xiaomi emphasizes most in its marketing is the air reach. The indoor unit has an airflow of 1,800 cubic meters per hour and blows up to 16 meters away, which is sufficient for rapid air circulation even in a larger living room. The 115-degree output angle, in turn, means the air conditioner can be reasonably placed in a corner instead of having to stand in the middle. Xiaomi states the operating range between −35 °C and +65 °C outdoor temperature, so even a Czech winter should not be an issue. Smart features are standard in the Xiaomi ecosystem — control via the Mi Home app, voice control, integration with smart home. So, don’t expect any big surprises. The bigger question mark is availability itself. In China, the air conditioner costs approximately 20 thousand CZK (converted). Whether the Ultra 3HP will make its way to us has not yet been confirmed by the manufacturer. Would you opt for an air conditioner from Xiaomi, or stick to established brands?
