In early October, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro was on sale at Alza for 9 719 Kč. Black Friday has now dropped the price to 7 999 Kč, including a station that empties dust, washes mops, and dries them with hot air. We have also already tested the device. In our June review, it received 85 % and praise for cleaning along walls, where cheaper robots often leave the work to the owner.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: An apartment with hard floors where you want to regularly vacuum and mop, and not hand-wash mops after every cleaning.
⚠️ Consider: Mops are washed with cold water, and charging takes up to 6 hours. In a large house, recharging during cleaning might cause delays.
💡 The price of 7 999 Kč is valid without a code or membership. It is cheaper than the verified offer for the same variant on Allegro.

This time, Alza has the upper hand even against the competition

For the same white H50 Pro variant with the complete station, we verified the offer from seller Auronix on Allegro for 8 944 Kč. Without the Smart service, shipping starts at 65 Kč there. Alza, with its price of 7 999 Kč, comes out better even when comparing the product itself. It’s not just a significant discount from a crossed-out amount.

It washes its own mops, you refill the water

Two rotating pads scrub the floor when mopping, instead of the robot just dragging a wet cloth behind it. Upon returning to the station, the mops are washed and dried with hot air, while dust ends up in a bag. This extra convenience is precisely why you’d want a larger base: you don’t have to remove dirty pads and take them to the sink after every run.

However, washing takes place with cold water. Also, expect to refill clean water, empty dirty water, and occasionally manually clean the station. You can set cleaning times and no-go zones in Xiaomi Home, so the robot can start, for example, in the morning when the apartment is empty.

It scored well in our test for skirting boards

The extendable side brush and mopping arm help reach walls and go around furniture. In our June test, we particularly appreciated that after cleaning, no strip of dust remained along the skirting boards, which with the previous, cheaper robot, needed to be manually cleaned. The 85 % rating was thus not based solely on a paper list of features.

We also found limitations. The vacuum cleaner wrapped a loose thin cable into its brush during the test, so it’s better to tidy it up beforehand. Although it lifts the mops by 10 mm, for carpets thicker than 8 mm, with long pile or fringes, the manufacturer recommends setting it to avoid them. Therefore, the H50 Pro is best utilized where hard floors predominate.

Does your current robot wash its own mops, or do you still end up at the sink after cleaning?
