Xiaomi's best robotic vacuum cleaner is 8 thousand cheaper! It has super performance and a practical station, plus it can cross thresholds Home News Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max is 30% cheaper at Alza during Black Friday sale At the time of writing, it costs 19,599 CZK instead of 27,999 CZK (discount of 8,400 CZK) It mops excellently, but it doesn't dispense detergent, and you have to set carpets manually Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 30. 10. 2026 06:30 Advertisement Thresholds between rooms and wooden floating floors that don’t like water. Even with such apartments, the most equipped robotic vacuum cleaner Xiaomi sells in Europe can handle it. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max now costs 19,599 CZK instead of 27,999 CZK at Alza, which is almost a third less. The flagship model, which we tested ourselves, is now much more attractive than at its launch. CHCI 6 MAX V AKCI Quick summary:✅ Makes sense in an apartment with tiles, wooden floors, and higher thresholds between rooms.⚠️ Consider if you will miss automatic detergent dispensing and if you mainly have high-pile carpets at home.💡 At 19,599 CZK, it is 8,400 CZK cheaper than Alza sold it throughout September and October. Legs can cross thresholds up to 6 cm, robot can also go under low sofas The main attraction are two mechanical legs. When the robot encounters a threshold, it extends them, lifts itself, and crosses it. Xiaomi states thresholds up to 6 cm high, while regular robots usually stop at about two centimeters. This will be especially appreciated by owners of older apartments and houses where moldings and ramps alternate between rooms. Just be careful about the parameters in Alza’s table, which state obstacles up to 2 cm. Both the manufacturer and the product description mention six. During the test, however, the legs sometimes worked where they didn’t have to, and the robot extended them several times on a flat floor between rooms without a threshold. Manually marking the thresholds in the app helped; then it crossed them reliably and didn’t lift unnecessarily. Furthermore, the laser tower can retract into the body, so the robot measures only 9 cm and can enter anywhere there is a gap of at least 9.3 cm. Xiaomi states a suction power of up to 35,000 Pa, measured directly on the fan, not on the floor. On hard floors, it’s more than enough, and crumbs, sand, and flakes disappear on the first pass. The main brush with blades cuts hair, so it didn’t need to be untangled even once during the test. OBJEDNAT XIAOMI 6 MAX Roller mop doesn’t smudge, but only mops with clean water Instead of two rotating mops, the 6 Max uses a roller that is continuously moistened by 16 nozzles during operation. Dirty water is immediately wiped off it, so the robot doesn’t spread dirt around the apartment. In the test, the result was even, streak-free, and the floor dried quickly, which will be especially appreciated by owners of wooden floors. It handled freshly spilled lemonade or ketchup on the first try, but sometimes it went over dried stains on tiles twice and still a cloth was needed in the end. A small mop on an extendable arm reaches into corners, but it lacks pressure for stubborn stains. After cleaning, the station washes the roller with water up to 85 °C, dries it with 50 °C air, and transfers dust into a bag that, according to Xiaomi, lasts up to 75 days. However, there is a significant weakness here: the station does not have a detergent dispenser, and Xiaomi does not recommend adding it to the clean water tank because it can clog the lines. Significantly cheaper competitors, meanwhile, dispense detergent themselves today. You manually refill the clean water tank (4 l) and empty the dirty water container (3.8 l). Furthermore, you won’t find spare brushes or bags in the package. Not suitable for high-pile carpets On carpets, the robot does not increase suction on its own; the boost needs to be turned on in the app. Without it, it collects about two-thirds of the dirt; after marking carpets on the map and setting maximum suction, the result is better. The roller lifts 10 mm above the carpet, but it doesn’t have a cover, so a higher carpet might get slightly damp. Therefore, the 6 Max is not an ideal choice for shaggy carpets. It’s similar with obstacle recognition via three cameras. It’s off out of the box; once turned on, the robot reliably avoids slippers, chargers, and table legs, but it only sometimes handles small children’s toys. You also need to consider space: the station measures 47 × 36 × 58 cm and is noisiest when emptying dust. The robot itself is quiet in normal mode, and its 6,400 mAh battery lasted about three hours in the test, which is enough for more than 100 m². At 19,599 CZK, it’s a different vacuum cleaner than at 28 thousand At the original price, we hesitated in our review. At 19,599 CZK, however, it’s an interesting piece, especially for owners of older apartments and houses with thresholds, tiles, and wooden floors, or for those who have low furniture at home that a classic vacuum cleaner cannot reach under. The fact that the brush cuts hair and you don’t have to manually untangle it is also a plus. Conversely, those who want the robot to mop with detergent, or have an apartment full of shaggy carpets, will look elsewhere. In China, the successor Robot Vacuum 7 Max is already being sold, but we don’t know anything about its arrival in Europe yet.
