A flagship you can still operate with one hand

While competitors are growing to tablet dimensions, the Pixel 11 Pro sticks with a 6.34″ display and dimensions of 152.7 × 71.9 mm. Reviewers summarize this as the main reason the phone won them over: after large flagships, the magic of a phone that is comfortably operated with one hand has returned.

The display is an LTPO OLED with a resolution of 2856 × 1280, 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits – making it one of the brightest panels on the market, readable even in direct sunlight. The body is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides, the frame is aluminum, and IP68 certification allows submersion in one and a half meters of water for half an hour.

Photographically, it’s classic Pixel power: a 50Mpx main sensor with an aperture of f/1.68, a 48Mpx wide-angle, a 48Mpx telephoto lens, and a 42Mpx selfie camera. New to this year’s generation is a significantly faster Night Sight mode. Also added are 120× Super zoom and features like Magic Capture or Camera Looks.

Tensor G6: more efficient, but not the fastest

Here, it’s necessary to be honest, as much has been written about it. The Tensor G6 brought a 21% improvement in multi-core and 17% in single-core performance compared to its predecessor – in Geekbench 6, it achieves approximately 2,700 points single-core and 7,000 multi-core. This is a solid step forward, but it’s still noticeably less than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in competing flagships.

In practice, however, it performs better than the numbers suggest. Reviewers agree that in everyday use, the phone is extremely snappy, apps launch instantly, and even more demanding mobile games run smoothly at high details. Limitations only become apparent with the most demanding 3D titles.

Two things, on the other hand, are clear improvements. Firstly, efficiency – thanks to the new architecture and a larger vapor chamber cooler, the phone heats up less, and the 4,850 mAh battery comfortably lasts all day. Secondly, and this is a big deal: the Tensor G6 is Google’s first chip without an Exynos modem; instead, it features the MediaTek M90. After years of complaints about Pixel connectivity, this means more stable 5G, faster downloads, and lower power consumption.

What reviewers dislike

The loudest criticism is directed at the HiLight feature – a notification LED on the camera module that replaced the temperature sensor. It only works when the phone is lying face down and only notifies you of calls from selected contacts or when Gemini is running.

The second criticism concerns memory: this year, the base 256 GB version has 12 GB of RAM instead of last year’s 16 GB – you only get more memory with the 512GB variant. And the third is 30 W charging, which is slow compared to Chinese competitors with triple the values; wirelessly, it handles 25 W.
