O2's Datamanie now offers twice as much data. For 349 CZK, you get 200 GB monthly for a whole year

Anyone who needs a substantial amount of mobile data for everyday use or is looking for a cheap second SIM card for a tablet or router now has a reason to pay attention. O2 today launched a limited edition of prepaid Datamanie tariffs, which will equip you with double the data volume for the same price for a whole year. The popular hundred comes out best: instead of 100 GB, you get 200 GB for 349 CZK for 30 days.

The popular Datamanie 100 GB now offers 200 GB for 349 CZK

The Datamanie 100 GB tariff costs 349 CZK for 30 days during the promotion (originally 449 CZK) and instead of a hundred gigabytes, it offers 100 + 100 GB of data at maximum 5G speed. One gigabyte will thus cost you approximately 1.75 CZK.

A comparison with previous promotions is also offered. Datamanie 100 GB was already sold for 349 CZK last summer, as we wrote then, but back then it was only with 100 GB. For the same money, you now get twice as much data, and the new price will last for a full 12 months from activation.

Don’t expect calls to be included in the price; the tariff is mainly aimed at those who need data. If necessary, you can activate unlimited calls in the Czech Republic for 15 CZK per day, one SMS costs 2 CZK.

If you travel frequently, you will have to look for the most expensive Datamanie NEO package, which offers 55 GB of data in the EU zone. The hundred-gigabyte tariff as such does not include roaming, so it can only be used in the Czech Republic.

Smaller tariffs received more data, but the cheapest one didn’t get a discount

Two smaller variants also received double the data, but neither of them comes close to the hundred-gigabyte tariff in terms of price per gigabyte. Datamanie 10 GB now offers 20 GB of data for 249 CZK instead of 299 CZK and adds 100 minutes of calls. Datamanie 2 GB remains at 199 CZK, but instead of a discount, you get 4 GB of data and 200 minutes of calls. For both, an SMS costs 1.90 CZK.

Unlimited data for 499 CZK and headphones for one crown

The unlimited Datamanie NEO tariff has also been discounted, and you can now get it for 499 CZK instead of 849 CZK. The price includes unlimited data in the Czech Republic at a speed of 10 Mb/s, unlimited calls in the Czech Republic and the EU zone, and 55 GB of data for traveling around Europe. A speed of 10 Mb/s should be sufficient for social networks, navigation, or higher-quality video, but it will not reach the full 5G speeds of the double-data tariffs when downloading large files.

In addition, O2 is adding O2 pods wireless headphones for 1 CZK to newly activated NEO tariffs. A voucher for them will arrive via SMS within 10 business days of topping up the tariff. According to the operator, the headphones with a charging case last up to 21 hours of listening, but here too, the deadline is the end of October.

How long is the promotion valid and what happens after a year?

The promotional offer is valid for newly activated services until October 31, 2026, or until the limited edition is sold out. The SIM card must then be activated no later than February 15, 2027. You can order a maximum of two SIM cards for each tariff.

After 12 months, the tariff will return to the standard data volume and price, meaning for the hundred-gigabyte tariff, it will be 100 GB for 449 CZK. However, Datamanie has no contract or commitment, so you can simply stop paying for it after the promotion ends. The eSIM arrives within a few minutes by email, O2 sends the physical card for free by post, and you activate the tariff with the first payment in the Moje O2 application.
