Samsung Galaxy S26 FE leaks in first photo. This is what it will look like

Samsung is gradually preparing for the launch of another “fan edition”. The Galaxy S26 FE will be a lighter version of this year’s flagship – offering slightly weaker specifications, but also a lower price. Although we have previously seen leaks from various databases, the current one provides the first look at what the smartphone will actually look like.

Design won’t surprise, but the strange placement of the island will

The image comes from the database of the certification authority WPC (Wireless Power Consortium), where a record of a phone with model number SM-S741 appeared. This was reported by 9to5Google. From the photo, it is clear that the Galaxy S26 FE is based on the design of the base Galaxy S26. Compared to last year’s Galaxy S25 FE, one main thing changes, and that is the cameras. The new model gets a raised island similar to what Samsung uses for its foldable Galaxy Z Fold series models.

However, the placement of the island seems a bit unfortunate. The module appears too close to the top and side edges of the back, whereas with other phones using this solution, it is usually a bit further from the edge. It looks unusual in the photo. However, the image comes from a certification and may be a pre-production unit, so the layout might still shift in the final version.

What’s rumored about the specs so far?

We don’t know much about the specs yet. According to an earlier leak, the Galaxy S26 FE should be powered by an Exynos 2500 chipset accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and should run directly on Android 17 out of the box.
