Samsung won't be happy. A complete list of products to be unveiled in a few weeks has leaked.

Samsung has prepared an exceptionally packed program for this year’s summer Unpacked event. According to Seoul Economic Daily, the event will take place on July 22 in London, and in addition to a new generation of foldables, the Koreans will also introduce their first venture into smart glasses and the Galaxy Watch 9. This date aligns with earlier information about the arrival of the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Galaxy Glasses will be the main star

A truly new category for Samsung is glasses with the working title Galaxy Glasses. They are expected to run on the Android XR platform, which Google and Samsung are developing together, and their design is being created in collaboration with the South Korean brand Gentle Monster. The first pieces from leaked photos actually look quite inconspicuous — no futuristic jewelry, just glasses.

A bit of a paradox: although it’s a product based on the XR platform, the premiere generation will not have any display. Functionally, Samsung is thus directly targeting Ray-Ban Meta — microphones, speakers, a camera, and a voice assistant.

Foldables and watches as a bonus

Alongside the glasses, the classic lineup will arrive on stage: Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Flip 8, and apparently also a wider book-style foldable, which has been rumored for a long time. The Galaxy Watch 9 will top it off. That’s a decent portion for one Unpacked event.
