In recent years, Amazfit has had a clear strategy — to offer sports watches with the specifications of Garmin’s flagship models for significantly less money. The Cheetah 2 Pro Titanium for 11,299 CZK is another step in this tactic. The watch is primarily aimed at runners who want accurate GPS, long battery life, and a training assistant — but would rather not pay almost twenty thousand for it.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you run regularly and are looking for a watch with accurate dual-band GPS, a lightweight titanium body, and a training planner. The AI assistant Zepp Coach can prepare a plan, for example, for a half-marathon.
⚠️ Consider that compared to the original Cheetah Pro from 2023, Amazfit has increased its price in Europe by approximately 50%, and the Zepp ecosystem is not as developed as Garmin Connect.
💡 For 11,299 CZK you get a 1.32″ AMOLED with 3,000 nits, sapphire glass, a 48mm titanium case, weight of 45.6 g, dual-band GPS with six satellite systems, 150+ sports modes, NFC payments via Zepp Pay, and 5 ATM water resistance.

Features every runner will appreciate

Amazfit did not skimp on materials for the Cheetah 2 Pro. The case is made of grade 5 titanium, the display is covered by sapphire glass with an anti-fingerprint coating, and the entire watch weighs only 45.6 grams. The 1.32″ touch AMOLED with 3,000 nits brightness and Always-on support is complemented by four physical buttons — which are more comfortable to tap during a run.

Key for runners are the BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor, dual-band GPS with support for six satellite systems, and the AI assistant Zepp Coach. It monitors your fatigue, fitness, and training load, and creates plans for, say, a half-marathon or fartlek. In addition, there are over 150 sports modes, automatic activity start detection, and synchronization with Strava, Apple Health, Google Fit, and Adidas Running.

Price, battery life, and what you get for it

The 540 mAh battery lasts up to 20 days in typical usage and 31 hours with active GPS. That’s enough for an entire ultramarathon or a weekend cycling trip without nervously checking the charger. The watch can receive calls via the integrated microphone and speaker, supports NFC payments via Zepp Pay, and has 32 GB of storage for music for running without a phone.

Would you swap Garmin for Amazfit if the price was five thousand cheaper?
