Pre-orders started today at midnight, and sales will begin on September 17. All four share a common goal: the longest possible breaks between charges. Xiaomi promises up to three days of operation and talks about the largest battery it has ever put into a phone for the European market. The global version, however, has 10,000 mAh, so Europe received almost 800 mAh less. The Note 17 Pro offers 8,340 mAh with 67W charging, while the basic Note 17 and Note 17 5G both have 7,700 mAh and 45 W. Both Pro models feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with brightness up to 3,500 nits and IP66/IP68 rating. The Pro Max is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, while the Pro uses Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. The cheaper duo has a larger 6.99-inch Full HD+ display, IP65 rating, and a memory card slot. The Note 17 5G relies on Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, and the non-5G version on Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2. KOUPIT REDMI NOTE 17 According to Xiaomi, the Pro Max can increase volume by up to 400%. A footnote in the press release translates this into plain language: the phone offers 17 volume levels instead of 15. More milliamp-hours, fewer gigabytes However, larger batteries come at a cost. Three out of four models have 2 GB less RAM in their cheapest configuration than their January predecessors, yet entry prices have still increased. The top of the line saw the biggest price hike: the Pro Max starts at 12,499 CZK, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ started at 10,999 CZK. The press release does not explain the price increase, but the entire market is suffering from expensive memory this year. Savings were made elsewhere too. The Note 17 Pro records at most in Full HD at 30 frames per second; only the Pro Max can handle 4K video. A comparison with neighbors might be a consolation: in Germany, the Pro Max costs roughly 600 euros, according to heise, which is over 14.5 thousand CZK when converted.
