A 55-inch 4K TV for seven thousand. The TCL 55V6C is on Alza for 6,990 CZK with code ALZADNY15. The original price was 12,990 CZK, gradually dropped below ten thousand, and is now even cheaper. For that money, you get Google TV with a complete offering of streaming services, HDMI 2.1 for next-gen consoles, AirPlay 2 for iPhone, and Google Cast for Android. A rating of 4.8 out of 5 with 103 reviews and 97% recommendation — people are paying seven thousand for it and writing that for that price, they “can’t say a bad word”.

Quick summary:
Makes sense as a main TV for the living room, bedroom, cottage, or as a first large 4K TV — with a complete Google TV ecosystem for a price at which you’d buy a 43″ panel elsewhere.
⚠️ Consider that this is a basic 60 Hz LED panel — no Mini LED, no local dimming, and viewing angles are not the best.
💡 For 6,990 CZK you get 55″ 4K, HDR10, 3× HDMI 2.1, ALLM, Google TV with voice control, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Dolby Audio (20W), and a bezel-less design.

What to expect for seven thousand

HVA panel with high native contrast and anti-reflective coating — when viewed from the front, the picture is surprisingly good for this price category. The AiPQ processor optimizes colors, contrast, and motion frame by frame. MEMC technology interpolates frames for smoother sports and action scenes. Three HDMI 2.1 ports with ALLM support for automatic game mode — you can connect both PS5 and Xbox Series X without problems.

Google TV offers Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video, YouTube, as well as Czech services like SledováníTV or Oneplay. Voice control via Google Assistant, phone sharing via AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. The 20W speakers with Dolby Audio are sufficient for basic viewing — several reviewers write that they are surprisingly decent. The Multisound feature allows simultaneous output to speakers and wireless headphones with independent volume control. A weight of just 10 kg makes installation easier. The complaint rate of 0.44% is excellent for this price category.

What to consider

It’s a basic LED TV with a 60Hz panel and 270 nits brightness — no Mini LED, no local dimming, no Dolby Vision. The picture greys out at an angle, as one reviewer points out. It won’t be a miracle in direct sunlight in a brightly lit room. It only supports HDR10 — not HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. But seven thousand for a 55″ 4K TV with full Google TV and HDMI 2.1? Simply nothing cheaper exists on the market.

A 55″ 4K TV for seven thousand — is that enough, or would you rather invest in a more premium model?
