This will be appreciated by every owner! Another hidden feature of Galaxy Z Fold8 has been discovered in One UI 9

Galaxy Z Fold 8 received a decent portion of improvements with One UI 9 for working with the large inner display – enhanced multitasking with up to four apps at once, the ability to lock screen rotation separately for the outer and inner panels. According to leaker IceUniverse, however, Samsung is not stopping. On the X network, he showed a feature that has not yet been officially released anywhere: the ability to change the size of the displayed app content, essentially a custom zoom for each app individually.

YouTube one-third denser

The principle is simple yet practical. YouTube on the Z Fold 8 normally shows only two rows of recommended videos; after reducing the displayed content, three rows fit. In other words – the smaller the zoom you set, the more information fits on the screen at once, which makes much more sense on a large foldable display than on a regular phone. The option is hidden in the settings under the item “app screen zoom” and works at the level of individual applications, not the entire system.

Galaxy Z Fold8 has a very useful feature: app-level display customization.

A feature no one has yet

But there’s a catch. We in the editorial office haven’t found this feature on the Fold8 yet, which suggests it’s a test that’s still awaiting release – and even after release, it will need to be manually enabled in Samsung Labs, i.e., the section for experimental settings. So, it’s more of a demonstration of where Samsung is heading than a finished feature that anyone can try today.
