TOP 5 new products from Xiaomi that have caught my attention recently. Some will be available in the Czech Republic (soon).

Xiaomi has long ceased to produce only smartphones, headphones, or wearables. The Chinese manufacturer quite often comes up with really interesting home gadgets or handy accessories for users who spend a lot of time at the computer. I own several products of the brand myself, and they suit me primarily for their usually excellent price-to-performance ratio. I also regularly follow newly released devices and write about them – therefore, I bring a list of five new products that have caught my attention the most recently.

Mijia Smart Tea Bar Machine Pro: the ultimate tea station

Výrobce do jednoho vysokého bílého těla uschoval průtokový ohřev vody, filtraci i dezinfekční úložiště na nádobí. Horkou vodu naservíruje zhruba do tří sekund a plný var zvládne za patnáct, přičemž teplotu i velikost dávky si nastavíte z 2,8″ dotykového displeje nebo hlasem přes asistenta Xiao Ai.

But what impressed me most was the cleaning part. The reservoir holds 5.5 liters of water, two separate outlets handle hot water and tea brewing separately, and in the box for eight to fifteen cups, dishes are sterilized with UV light and dried with hot air at 70 °C – no wiping needed. The manufacturer boasts a sterilization efficiency of 99.99 percent, which is, however, its own laboratory value, so I would take it with a grain of salt. Converted, the machine costs approximately 3,450 Czech crowns (1,099 yuan), but for now, it is only available in China.

Mijia Wet Dry Vacuum 5 Pro: a powerful stick vacuum cleaner

A wet vacuum cleaner that isn’t afraid of Dyson or Roborock – that’s how I imagine the Mijia Wet Dry Vacuum 5 Pro based on Xiaomi’s own description. It combines hot steam up to 160 °C for baked-on grease with a suction power of 26,000 Pa, so it should sweep and mop in one go. The rotating brush spins four hundred times per minute and, according to the manufacturer, can handle even four and a half thousand strands of wet long hair without getting tangled.

You don’t have to manually untangle the brush after cleaning – the station rinses it with hot water at 100 °C and dries it with hot air in five minutes. The clean water tank holds one liter, the dirty water tank 700 milliliters, and on a single charge, the vacuum cleaner lasts up to forty minutes, which, according to the brand, is enough for 340 square meters. It will likely arrive in the Czech Republic in a few weeks; in China, it costs around 6,700 Czech crowns (2,149 yuan) on sale.

Electric Scooter 6 Essential: lightweight and probably inexpensive

The Scooter 6 Essential is an interesting addition to Xiaomi’s latest line of electric scooters. At 16.3 kilograms, it’s ten kilos lighter than the basic Scooter 6, so you can carry it up stairs or through a subway turnstile without explicitly exercising. The motor delivers 500 W at peak, three riding modes allow for a maximum of 25 km/h, and stopping is handled by a front drum brake complemented by an electronic E-ABS system on the rear wheel.

However, the low weight comes at a cost. The range drops to just 25 kilometers, roughly half compared to the basic model, suspension is missing, and the tires have shrunk to ten inches. The brand has not yet announced the official price, but given that the basic Scooter 6 costs 8,999 Czech crowns, the Essential could be expected somewhere around six thousand. I see it as a machine for someone who primarily carries the scooter, not for someone who wants to ride tens of kilometers daily.

Xiaomi Mijia Servo-oscillation Toothbrush: display directly on the handle

The Mijia Servo-oscillation Pro electric toothbrush is powered by a servo-oscillation motor that, in addition to classic vibrating, tilts the brush head by up to 60° – and most importantly, it has a color display directly on the handle that shows in real-time which tooth zones you have already cleaned and which you have missed. Mapping is handled by a six-axis gyroscope paired via Bluetooth 5.4 with the Xiaomi Home app.

Even the small details are practical. A pressure sensor automatically slows down the motor if you press too hard on your teeth, the body can withstand immersion (IPX8), and on a single USB-C charge, it lasts approximately 90 days with twice-daily brushing, or even half a year in power-saving mode. The manufacturer promises up to 92% plaque removal efficiency – however, this is its own laboratory value, so it’s more for orientation. Unlike the other products mentioned, however, you can already buy it here for 1,499 Czech crowns.

Xiaomi S400 Pro Smart Scale: measures 25 body values

The Xiaomi Mijia Body Composition Scale S400 Pro is heading to Europe with the ability to measure up to 25 body values. It boasts a 3.5″ color display, on which you can directly read some of the detected data, and works with the Xiaomi Home mobile application. Measurements are handled by dual-frequency bioimpedance at 50 and 250 kHz via a tempered glass plate with a conductive layer.

More interesting than the number of figures is their accuracy. The manufacturer states that the results correlate with the reference DEXA X-ray method with a correlation above 0.93 – however, here too, it’s the brand’s own data, which we cannot verify ourselves. The scale remembers 160 measurements, can handle up to 36 profiles for ages six to eighty, and runs for approximately 150 days on four AAA batteries. According to our information, it should arrive in the Czech Republic soon, with a price of around 1,300 CZK.
