Poco X9 Pro Max with Pixel design? Leaked render of Chinese prototype reveals big changes

After the first information about the planned parameters of the new Redmi Turbo 6 Max, we also got a first look at the design of the upcoming novelty. While the Redmi Turbo series remains exclusive to the Chinese market, Xiaomi usually sends these models, with minor or major modifications, to global markets under the Poco brand. Moreover, if it follows last year’s naming logic, it is very possible that we are looking at the new Poco X9 Pro Max.

Will Poco X9 Pro Max bring a design change?

Looking at the available render, the first thing that came to mind were Google Pixel phones from the last few generations, which use a largely similar camera module. However, in the case of the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, alias the potential Poco X9 Pro Max, this module is placed much closer to the top edge. Frankly, we don’t mind this similarity and rather welcome a change in Poco’s design language.

A look at the available render then reveals that the phone will most likely have only two cameras on its back again. Let’s hope that at least the long-standing 8MP ultrawide camera finally retires. The battery should then have a capacity of 10,000 mAh, but here, of course, some difference can be expected between the Chinese and global models. In the case of its predecessor, it was 9,000 vs 8,500 mAh in favor of the Chinese sibling.

Traditionally, we can expect very solid performance. This should again be handled by a MediaTek chip, specifically the Dimensity 9600s, which should essentially be the Dimensity 9500+. In essence, we are talking about an improved version of MediaTek’s still current TOP model. The display should then have 2K resolution and a diagonal of 7″. It should also be added that the leaked data about the Redmi Turbo 6 Max comes from the reliable leaker Digital Chat Station.
